Marilyn Kenoyer, ERYT-500
Marilyn has 20 years experience in teaching yoga, and 10 years experience teaching
meditation and Ayurvedic concepts of healing and self-care. Although she has learned from a
diverse range of teachers and styles, the foundation of her training was acquired through
Kripalu, the Himalayan Institute and Self-Awakening Yoga. Her classes are relaxing, soulful and well balanced. The pace is often slow and gentle, with attention to the heart and mind, as well as the body. Each class includes attention to physical maintenance of the spine, joints and
muscles, as well as mental and emotional stress release. Traditional poses, breath work,
balance and focus work, and stillness, are part of each class. Healthy lifestyle information is
incorporated as well. Each student is encouraged to learn from, and listen to their own body,
respecting their own unique needs, abilities and limitations.
